Top 10 things to do / see while on vacation in Chicago?
We are not going for a couple of weeks, but we like to hear from some restaurant incredible / museums / sights to see / things to do / bars or clubs? Thank you very much!
Depends on what you delight in doing and what kind of budget you are effective with, but here are some of my pet things to do with my family when they visit, or how I happened on Saturday: 1. Shopping on State Street and Michigan Avenue. State Street has Marshall Fields building (now Macys) and is simply magnificent. Water Tower Plaza is located in Michigan and is a nice small downtown with a lot of different shops. Not to mention H & M is across the street. 2. The bean in Millennium Park. It's really a cool giant bean-shaped mirror, and a lot of photos taken are there, even for weddings and more. 3. Mojo Spa in Wicker Park in Milwaukee. It is a small beauty shop very original which is headed by a former boss. If you're fortunate, you'll stop while she is serving some tasty mix to eat while you shop and get their nails. Be sure to book your appointments in development. They book up really quick. www.mojospa.com. 4. There are in this area three or four ethyl Chocolate Lounge in Chicago. Get fondue for in this area 20 dollars, and share it with whomever you are with. It is tasty and comes with a variety of fruits for dipping. 5. If you go to Mojo Spa, stay in the area of Wicker Park and go to all the small boutiques and shops. They are a bit more expensive, but they are impressive if you are in fashion. 6. Another nice place small boutique on Armitage Street Lincoln Park. Any taxi driver will know where you are, or take the brown line and get off at the stop Armitage. Many nice shops. 7. Deep Dish. While I am not a fan, is a must if you are in Chicago. Malnatis Giordano and Lou are the favs in Chicago. There is a right of Giordano of Michigan, it would be a excellent place to go after a day of shopping (730 N. Rush Street). 8. There are restaurants in abundance in this city, particularly grills. David Burke in my private pet, but the Chicago Chop House (they have a live pianist in the main room), Gibson, Hugo Frog Bar (Gibson's Kitchen, just as excellent, but cheaper and more fun), Morton's and Sullivan are incredible. 9. Shedd Aquarium. I have not been yet, but I wanted to since I went here a year ago. I have heard only fantastic things. 10. Take a walk Lakeshore drive or one of beaches. Or even Navy Pier and ride the Ferris wheel to get a fantastic view of the city. * If you want to go to either the Sears Tower or the Hancock building, Hancock do. It is much cheaper, and the view in this area ten times better because you can see the water. The Hancock is right on Michigan Ave and is next to the Water Tower Plaza – near a fantastic small shopping area. Hope this helps! You have an incredible trip. Chicago is a fantastic city and comes bustling in the warmer months.
