Where is a excellent place to stay in Houston, Texas by the entertainment spots?
I am going to Houston for my birthday the first week in April. I am thinking in this area staying downtown at the Recovery or the Marriot or something like that. Does downtown have an exciting nightlife?
Anyway, is this a excellent place to stay to be around the entertainment. I really want to stay around a excellent club, some excellent restaurants, shopping, art, etc… so i don’t have to dissipate a lot of time driving.

This is where you should stay with clubs and restaurants all around you and you are in the best mall in the city. You will have to drive to find everything else but art is in the museums and sites are distant from each other. This is simply a excellent place to stay for everything else.
