Antipasti Restaurant in White Plains. FANTASTIC ITALIAN FOOD

What is the best traditional Italian restaurant in San Antonio, Texas?

I am a critic of Italian food, even though I am German/French/Hispanic, I should have been born Italian.

I went to Pompeii, after going to several places and their menu was dull, their setup was not traditional Italian, but rather a large 2.5 million dollar historically elegant building to have fun in. With waitresses and hostesses that dress like whores.

Pompeii=NOT excellent. Horrible alfredo sauce on fettuchcine was mabye worse than Chilli’s, Marie Callendar’s=better. The chiken I had added on it was HORRIBLE and grilled tasteless. Cannoli for desert=dull, Johnny Carino’s tasted better, sweeter, and you got two for just 1.50 or so more. Their ministroni was excellent, their eggplant parmesan was the best item they had. My mom told me their Spaghetti was tasteless and their chicken parmesan was SO-SO.

Paesano=so far best I had. Tired of Carino, O.G., Zio,& Romano= excellent food, menu not. Carrabba= excellent b dull munu, Amore(new)=terrible, Il Panino=expsv, too long to dredge up Piatti or Sorrento

Sorriento’s on Broadway is EXCELLENT! Hooray’s at the new La Canterra Mall is pretty excellent, but I wouldn’t call it authentic. But by far, my pet Italian food in San Antonio is Small Italy on West Ave.
