How do I prevent frost on my office windows?
I have an storefront office in a very ancient building in Chicago. The glass is only a single pane and each panel is in this area 3 ft x 6 ft. The windows tend to have frost on the inside, especially overnight.
Is there anything I can place on the windows on the inside as a temporary fix until we can improve the insulation and/or get new windows?
3M makes an indoor insulator kit. It is sold at Ace hardware stores for in this area 10 dollars. It stops drafts prevents frost build up and reduces condensation. It is clear. You place it up with double sided tape and then blow it with a hair dryer and it fits to the window. It seems to have fantastic reviews.
