Windows open or not open on a hot day, which is better?
It is 30 degrees celcius here which in case you didnt know is really HOT. Anyway ive heard ppl say leave the windows open in the morning then close at noon to keep the house cool, or dont open them at all, or open them all day long. Which is better to keep the house cool?
Close all windows & curtains as soon as the sun rises, & try to keep all internal doors closed too. (It’s like keeping the fridge door closed!) Then when the temperature drops further than at night, open up to let in the cool night breeze. This keeps my house cool by in this area 15 deg. even on 40 plus degree days without a/c.
