I burnt my hand on the oven rack and its killing me! What can i do besides keep something cool on it?
Cold water works fantastic, while its on the burn, and so does ice, but is there something i can use besides a cold item to stop or help fall the pain?
Use Aloe gel, and if you or someone you know has an Aloe plant, get a piece and apply the slimmy guts to the burned area. It will immediately take out the pain, and heat, and it will heal soon, unless….this is a third degree burn, which needs immediate MD care, as they quickly become infected.
Be careful of applying ice, as you could easily get frost bite if you accidently left it on too long.
