What are some excellent restaurants in San Francisco?
I only see my boyfriend MAYBE twice a year (HES off at college). He comes home this weekend and want a like restaurant (but as he is a man that can mean a relatively clean Dennys). Since I was assigned the task to choose, I need a excellent restraint for our "romantic" dinner. Price range not more than $ 25 per plate. And delight, do not want 20 of People tell me the Cheesecake Factory. I have nothing against CF, but I do not want to keep checking my answers just to get the same suggestion of F-Ing.
Each type I have dated in San Francisco Likes Perry in Union Street. I do not know the attraction – to me its nothing special, its a step above base rate TGI Friday's food rate string. Classic American bar and a DVD menu – ribs, meatloaf, steaks, chops, lots of imported beers. Large parts edible, but not very creative. It's just a no-frills sky a small kid I guess, so if you're willing to sacrifice cuisine and atmosphere to make your guy pleased and comfortable, this is probably the right place. And Union Street, so you permanently can take a cruise for a more fashionable place for a drink after dinner.
