Want to do a career change to nursing from restaruant management?
I am currently in the restaurant business for over eight years effective each single sector, i.e. catering, hotel, contract etc.. I am 23 and sick and tired of the low pay and no respect. I want to get into nursing but i dont know how to get ongoing i have an associates in culinary arts and some bachelors in food service management but didnt end. Will i need to initiation from scratch and also can I work part time i.e and take online classes and do nursing classes. I have no kids so this i believe can be a brilliant career change before i have any children, what do u reflect what is the best way to make this change…. all answers will be appericated
You’d need to get admitted to a nursing school and complete the program, then take the state nursing test. Online courses for nursing aren’t practical because much of the schooling is hands-on work with patients in a medical facility below supervision, but some of the vital courses for your program might be available online.
