KC Hopps opens second location for Los Cabos
When KC Hopps Ltd. Restaurants & Breweries wanted a original location for its 12th restaurant, Mission Farms in Leawood made the cut for several reasons. Mainly it was the locality — and the business neighbors. Other independently owned operations such as Zest, Blanc Burgers + Bottles, Blue Koi Noodles & Dumplings and Room 39 are thriving in the center.

My guy friend is asking me for some help but I have no thought what to tell him. He lives near the Plaza, but any restaurant in Kansas City would work.

Personally, my pet restaurant in KC for a special, romantic evening out is Jasper’s at 103rd and State Line. The food is fantastic (Italian), the wine list is outstanding and the decor is white tablecloths, uniformed servers (who are also knowledgeable) and the dessert cart is awe-inspiring.
