Is it really terrible to have a sense of heaviness in the chest, and like you can not get a breath full of air in it?
This is not constant, but sometimes I feel like my chest is heavier than normal and sometimes I feel like I can not get a full breath. I reflect it might be due to stress, but I'm not sure. Two weeks ago this happened in a restaurant with a large group of relatives of my husband and I finished up going into a panic attack. Should I worry, or just initiation effective on better management of stress? I'm only 21, so I feel like this is not normal.
No, this is not a excellent thing, because sounds like cardiovascular problems. Do you have hypertension (high blood pressure)? If you do not know, get it checked and be on the look of these additional symptoms when you feel heavy chest: dull pain in the chest that radiates to the back, your neck, dizziness, low left arm, nausea, vomiting, increased pulse rate (above 100 bpm) Stress and anxiety can mimic the symptoms, but I would not expect to see if I feel anxiety if any of these additional symptoms post GO TO THE ER. It only takes fractions of a second to the heart muscle to initiation dying from lack of oxygen. do not mean to scare you, but it's a serious question. Oh, and age has NOTHING to do with it, I've seen 10 year olds have heart attacks.
