Can anyone recommend a casual restaurant below 14th in New York, where I can take a first date?
I want to take her to a fun place, but where we can listen to others converse in.
The Village Lantern on Bleecker Street (just a block or two of LaGuardia). It is technically an elegant bar, but the bar is so elegant that it feels like a restaurant. Meanwhile, the menu (though restricted) is very excellent and quite reasonable (to eat in New York). It will be silent and relaxed and the atmosphere will be low enough for a first date, but, will look elegant decor. I reflect it's a perfect place for a first date.
