Restaurant advice Richmond and Yorktown, VA?
I'm going to Yorktown and Richmond next month and I've never been there before. I'm looking for some excellent places to eat for lunch and dinner on a Thursday at Yorktown, and Richmond on Friday. Most of our day will be devoted to journey to Yorktown on Thursday, while we will Friday battlefields tour of Richmond. I want to keep prices low to moderate … no more than $ 15/20 a meal for dinner. We like seafood and pizza, if that's any help. Thank you!
When you are in Yorktown, try to go for the barbecue pit Pierce! Located near I-64 on a section of the facade. (You can see that right when driving east on I-64, and truckers often stop at the side of the interstate and walking toward the restaurant.) Hmm … Visit the Richmond defenses off Route 5 (Fort Hoke was my Eagle Scout project!) There are not many choices of places to eat. There are two gas stations with places to eat in them near the I-295. There was grilled Yahley Mill, but recently closed and focuses only on restoration. There is also an Italian Restaurant in the Central Lion food basket to I-295 and make that pizza. If the center of the head, on Route 5, which pass to Edgar Allen Poe Museum and unity in the Shockoe Bottom. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in this area, but there are none that I really recommend in your price range. If you head up the hill the hill area of the Place of worship, through from St. John's Place of worship (Give me liberty or give me death!) is a capella. German and Italian. I like a lot but is in the range of $ 15 – $ 25 price. Driving north the Tredegar Iron Works is fifty pence piece Lane Pub This is a very nice, some of tariffs in a price range. If you choose to swing toward Petersburg (thats a trip full day in itself!) try to locate Reyes BBQ. I reflect it's quite near Pamplin Historical Park. (Pamplin is a private site, civil war, but is fantastic!) Excellent luck and delight in your trip!
