Where can I buy very heavy aluminum cookware?
I have owned for over 30 years several aluminum pots with”Commercial Spinning Company”,”aluminum” and “Toledo Ohio” stamped on the lids. Commercial Aluminum was sold a couple of times, and is currently owned by Rubbermaid who makes Calphalon. But they don’t seem to make this kind now. Does anyone subdue make this heavy cookware?
Many cookware manufacturers’ are shying away from aluminum cookware because of the association of aluminum and Alzheimer’s disease. Acid foods — particularly tomatoes — dramatically increase the ppm of aluminum from cooking.
