Stock Pot

One of my pet meat daughter is a breast. She wanted breasts since I was a toddler. When I was small, my mother used to make breast in the oven, toss a small of this and a small of that in the pot. While my daughter loved the end result was nearly impossible for me to reproduce the recipe.
Today when I skirt I nearly permanently use my slow cooker. A brisket is a cut of meat that you need to cook for several hours anyway, why not cook in the crockpot that wait moist and absorb all the flavors I add?
One is to make sauces, ketchup, sauce and mix Worchestshire onion soup. I mix all together and then instead of adding water, add either Coca-Cola or 7-Up, based on what I have in the house. Add cooking adds a small flavor sweet tomato sauce mixture. I place meat on the bottom, then add the sauce on top. Then I slow cooker to low and cook until eight hours.
Another recipe I like blueberry is a skirt. This recipe requires a small preparation work before you can place the ingredients in the crockpot. Fry two onions chopped two stalks chopped celery, two carrots and four cloves of chopped garlic. Once soft, add a can of burgundy sauce from whole berries. Stir and remove from heat. Depending on the size of my chest, I sometimes wish brown chest before putting it in the crockpot. If the trunk is small, in this area 3 pounds or less, I'll skip blackening. Place the breast in the crock pot, add sauce and place over low heat for up to eight hours.
Both recipes are fantastic when I work a full day. I plug in the crock pot before leaving and the meat is tender and ready when I come home from work. We serve the breast with rice or or potatoes and vegetables warm. This makes a fantastic meal that is simple to prepare.
Audrey’s mom permanently entertained when she was growing up. Audrey cultured to prepare for large groups and has often entertained 15-30 people in her home at a time. You can find more fantastic recipes at http://www.recipe-barn.com
