Has anyone followed thru with the Taste This TV cooking show?
I found an ad on Craigslist and responded recently sending the requested information regarding my qualifications. Having seasoned qualifications including living in major metro areas, presently owning and operating a restaurant/cafe for several years with a published cookbook, and a show thought not presently being “worked” by any of the networks, I received an immediate response. Their ad stated that they would review all qualifications and if they deemed a fit they would then contact the applicant. I was contacted the next day.
I was told I would have a run of four interviews. The cost is now up to $8200 for the 26 minute video and I could just glide in and out on the same day. The shoot would last 5 hours.
Thus far the only “real” question they have questioned is what my show thought is. My appeal is that they take my thought and run with it, leaving me with an empty pocketbook in a lonely New York alley!
Has anyone really been thru the process to completion?
I applied and I recieved a call back, we are currently in the final round selection process.
They are down to 8 people!!
